Spring Fever: Whimsical Garden Wedding Inspiration from DLD

I have been noticing more of my grass showing beneath the snow in my front yard, which makes me hope that Spring is just around the corner! I may be getting a little eager, but even if the flowers aren't quite blooming outside, we can at least bring you some fresh blossoms & bright colors here at DLD. Hopefully this little photoshoot will brighten your day...

These images are from a whimsical-inspired wedding design we put together last year. We wanted to create a world rich in color & full of life-- just like Spring. We also wanted some larger-than-life elements like the over-sized paper flowers, a bold & bright centerpiece with coordinating floral bib necklace and unique details like the die-cut flower menu cards. These whimsical concepts would also be great to use for a birthday party, summer dinner or other event. Just imagine how much little girls would adore this life-size fairy world as a backdrop for their birthday party. So enchanting!

The basic concept originated from me daydreaming of how magical a fairy tea party would be! With all the huge flowers towering above and just a little table placed in a green alcove surrounded by a natural world of beauty... Yep, I am still a kid at heart.
