Gift Giving Ideas: Homemade Liquid Soap
As the old saying goes-"Tis the Season for Giving"! But what to give!? So many gifts and so little time! Today we share one gift idea that you can check off your ever-growing list.We love personalized gifts for neighbors and but want to spend a boat load of money making them. I wanted to do something fresh and new so I came up with the idea of homemade hand soap. It's 100% organic and super easy to make.With flu season here it's the gift that keeps on giving! Your neighbors will thank you! Rosemary Peppermint
- 2 cup Distilled Water
- 2 tbsp Castile Soap for every cup of water
- 1/4 tsp Fresh Rosemary
- 1/4 tsp Peppermint Essential oil
- 1/3 tsp Poppy Seeds
Lavender
- 2 Tbsp Pure Castile Soap
- 1/4 tsp Fresh Lavender (Can use dried or Essential Oil)
- 2 cups Distilled Water
- 1/3 tsp Poppy Seeds
Mix together water, castile soap and essential oils into a large mixing bowl. Whisk together.Finely mince fresh rosemary and add to soap mixture. I also added poppy seeds to mine for an all natural exfoliator.Pour into decorative dispenser, adorn with some fresh greens and enjoy!Recipe is for around one 10 oz bottle.
