We're big fans of Nicole & Chantri of True Atelier! They're creative geniuses with real style. That's why we're thrilled to feature this fabulous shoot they put together with Cassie Mickelsen of Pink Paisley Photography, another very talented photographer in the Idaho Falls area. And how about this gorgeous couple?! Seriously they look like movie stars! Here are a few words from Chantri & Nicole on how this shoot came to be...

We collaborated on this shoot with friend and fellow photographer Cassie Mickelsen when one of her wedding clients expressed the desire to do something really styled for a 2nd engagement shoot. The inspiration behind the shoot was an inner tube shot on Pinterest in which the VERY vintage couple were leaning over their tubes in the water and kissing. We thought it would be really cute to re-create something like that, but in a more colorful and retro way. We headed to our local lake with hair and makeup artist in tow (links below). Each photographer (Nicole, Chantri and Cassie) discussed the color scheme and retro style before hand and we each brought different props and accessories for the couple that we thought would work well. We directed the couple before hand on what to wear. We created a Pinterest board for our hair and makeup artist that would give them an idea of the look we wanted on the bride, and went from there!!!!
