A Winter Wonderland Wedding

We were delighted when the amazing & wonderful Lindsey Orton sent us these images from a recent photo shoot that she & the lovely Erin of Urban Chateau created. We adore the chic sophisticated color scheme & all the shimmer + sparkle you'll notice throughout. Some of my favorite details include the soft rustic florals, the simple sparkly gold heart cake and the little Christmas wishing tree for guests to leave their words of wisdom & wishes of love to the couple. Here are a few words on the inspiration behind this shoot..."Lots of us love winter for the time of year, but getting married in the winter gets overlooked too often! This shoot is to inspire the modern bride that she can still have soft spring colors but with the snow and glitz of winter. The wheels started turning for this shoot when we happened upon the white ceramic woodland animals at Anthropologie. From there we envisioned white birch trunks for vases and lots of sparkly snow overflowing the table for the centerpiece. The perfect wedding gown was provided by Abella Bridal that fit the frosted air but looked glamorous against the dead of winter in our setting of Perennial Gardens.  A garden filled with quaint little cottage sheds, old weathered arbors, vines still lasting through the frosty air, and a little billy goat named "Verbena". There as the bride held her bouquet made of snow berries, the talented Lindsey Orton snapped away capturing the magic of this time of year."
