Room Updates: Girls Floral Boho Bedroom

Almost 2 years ago I created this whimsical space on a $500 budget. It went viral and became the most pinned, saved and popular room I've designed thus far-- with around 15,000 saves on Houzz and even more than that on Pinterest. It grew my instagram account from 2k followers to over 20k in the matter of a few months because of how much it was shared! Basically, this space was a game changer for me. So you're probably wondering why on earth I'd change it... well, here's why:

1. No matter how pretty something is, in my book it just has to work for your needs most importantly!
2. I LOVE changing even little details in a space to keep it feeling fresh.

So there you have it. My daughter is only 3 years old and it just makes more sense for her to have a smaller bed and more play space so we swapped out the full size bed for a twin. Maybe when she's a teenager we will want to go back to a full size bed, but I've got a good decade til that happens. And also, when I saw this swing... I just fell in love. It's the perfect place for her to curl up and look at books or to give her animal friends a ride. I want one in my room too!
