My Fall Home Tour: Part 1
I had to break this down into 3 posts since there are so many photos!! Tomorrow I'll be sharing my kitchen & dining room, next week I'll be sharing my master bedroom and today I've got my Fall styled entry & family room to share with you! I've had so much fun adding Autumn accents this year. It's feeling so inviting!!
I opted for warm neutral tones like cream, greys & beige, with accents of sage + olive green and caramel tones that can be seen in the cognac leather, the backs of the magnolia leaves and wooden decor pieces. Then to round it out, just a touch of golden hues like the fresh Asian pears & faux olives nestled within the greenery.
And speaking of faux olives, you may have noticed my new olive tree in the corner looking right at home! I'm still sad I killed my real one, but I'm happy to have found a faux 8 ft tree that's beautiful & reasonably priced! My faux seeded Eucalyptus garland is another piece some of you were able to get before it sold out. It's the perfect accent for a mantle or table centerpiece and I can't believe how real it looks!!
On either side of my mantle, my shelves were so fun to style with earth tones, black & white/cream for a bold but subtle mix of elements. I sprinkled in a little touch of Autumn with various pumpkins I've collected!
For my coffee table I used a similar concept with a grouping of accent pieces-- my favorite wood tray, a woven basket tray & the black rattan Target bowl filled with mini white pumpkins, of course! The cute wool pumpkin adds texture & warmth to this set up as well!
I'm loving wool texture for the pumpkins & also wool-like fabrics on pillows & throws-- they provide rich looking tone variation with a cozy feel. I also adore cognac leather a little extra this time of year with it's warm tones reminiscent of the changing leaves. The pillows on my entry bench are a perfect example of these textures-- the wool look fabric with leather edge detail and can you believe how affordable these are?! You can shop the look below!
One last tip I wanted to mention is how much I love using faux greens like the olive branches in a basket. It's an element that gives a Farmer's Market feel that I just adore. As if you gathered up the branches one by one & carried them home in a basket! A fresh, organic look that feels authentic and charming. You can see my entry bench for an example of what I mean! And that's the Walmart woven basket I've been saying you all need! Just $9.94 for a set of 2 of them! Have I convinced you yet?! haha. Basket or not, I hope this tour gives you some ideas for your Fall accents this year! As always I'll be sharing more details in my IG stories! Happy Autumn, my friends!! See you here tomorrow for Part 2 of my tour!
