#EuropeanOrganicModern: Basement Family Room Reveal w/ Annie Selke

Sooo excited to share our new basement family room! I partnered with Annie Selke to bring my vision to life! They have gorgeous products-- like the pillows and rug I gave you a sneak peek of in my instagram stories not too long ago! And the pom-pom throw + marble bowl are from Annie Selke as well. I love that the pillows look like linen, but they're actually a washable family-friendly fabric!

I mixed some fun prints like the windowpane plaid, pale blue stripe and thinner grey ticking stripe with some textures like the ivory chenille Euro pillows that are made from the same amazingly soft fabric as the pom-pom throw! Right now these patterned pillows I have are 50% off. Their covers are removable to wash as needed so they've been the perfect choice for our family room! Great price, for a quality product!!

The rug is a woven style one that's available in other colors too. I went with the blue, which reads as a sage/aqua tone that I just adore. It's the perfect subtle complement to the pillows I used. And it's also a great one to use for layering or when you want something that isn't too thick!

Did you notice the gorgeous sliding doors that lead into the home theater?! They're made by the talented Raw Restorations. A Utah company that specializes in wood inlay artwork & beautiful custom barn doors! If you're looking for custom doors or artwork be sure to check them out!! I just love the way these double theater doors create the perfect backdrop for our family room. They're practical too since they don't take up space by opening out into the room like standard doors wood. I used one of my new favorite colors "Duxbury Grey" by Benjamin Moore on them! That's the same color I used on my son's accent wall too. It's beautiful with a blue/green undertone that's a true statement maker!

Then to up the wow-factor I added gold handles from Emtek! They look amazing against the darker color. I'm also obsessed with this brass barn door track/hardware! We ended up using 2 of the tracks and putting them together since we had double doors and it worked perfectly!

And to tie in with the brass door accents I used the most gorgeous picture light by Hudson Valley Lighting. It's a total showstopper! You'll see I featured their lighting collection throughout my basement. Such beautiful pieces that really add that upscale feel! This picture light is available in a variety of widths which is so helpful to find the perfect fit for your space!

The flooring I used for the basement is the same Hallmark one I used upstairs since I love it so much! Be sure to check out our YouTube video that covers some important info on oil finish engineered hardwood floors! I went with Hallmark Ventura Seashell and have been so happy with it. Their pricepoint is great and I love the tones of the wood, plus the more matte/natural look they have!

I'll be sharing more on this room in my IG stories soon, so be sure to check that out. I've also linked more sources for you below-- some are exact & some are the closest currently available!
