Entry Table Styling + My Fave Faux Stems!
I’m no stranger to styling console tables— I’ve decorated many an entry both in my own homes & client’s homes over the years, but oddly enough I’ve never styled a round entry table! The kind that are kind of floating in the middle— you know what I mean? So with this new home, it was time for something different! I wasn’t sure how I’d like this set up, but I must say… I am such a fan!!! It’s so unique and fresh.
I knew I wanted a table that makes a statement since it will be one of the first things you see when you enter the home. I was able to find this gorgeous one from Ruelala. If you haven’t heard of Ruelala— let me introduce you! I started shopping their site a few years back, which is similar to Gilt and ShopPremiumOutlets. All of which are basically flash deal sites that sell higher end brands at good discounts. I’ve gotten some really awesome finds over the years from them! And my new entry table was no exception— I found it on Ruelala for about $200 less than it costs on Amazon! PS— you do have to make an account (it’s free) with Ruelala to see the deals, which is kind of annoying, but I swear is so worth it for the savings!!
Oh and I also love that this table has a plaster look to tie in with my plaster lights. The pedestal base is so fun, don’t you think?! In addition to knowing I wanted a statement maker of a table, I also knew I wanted to keep the styling very minimal & large scale. This antique carved vase is so great as a stand alone piece & faux greenery that works year round was the perfect finishing detail.
