#DLDdesertmodern: Living Room, Kitchen + Entry
I've been so excited to share this!! Here's the main living area, kitchen, entry & sitting room from my #DLDdesertModern project! We did this home on a budget and in a time crunch and it looks so high end!! Quite a few of the finds are from Wayfair too-- in case you missed the news they have a huge give back sale happening now! Tons of deals and a portion of the proceeds go to Feeding America to aid in Covid-19 relief, so a great cause!
For this home we went with a modern, clean aesthetic with just a touch of traditional to keep it classic and inviting. I will be sharing a video tour of these areas pretty soon on IG stories so you can see the layout & cool details like the oversized pivoting glass entry door.
You know how I adore this stunning palette of warm wood tones with timeless black & white! I layered in some greys, taupe, cognac and interesting textures to keep it exciting. To get the high end look I mixed in some splurge pieces with the deal finds. The sofas were a steal-- closeout deal from Macy's that some of you may have grabbed before they sold out! I'll link some nearly identical ones I found as well. The amazing textural floor lamp was a splurge, but acts as a functional stand alone art piece with the beautiful detail it has!
The counter stools were purchased locally and I tracked down a couple similar styles online (linked below). Most of the shelf styling items, the rugs, dining table, etc were really reasonably priced! Right now you can get 25% off the dining table & all other regular priced items with code "BLOOM25" at Pier1 online. The swivel ivory arm chairs are another great find @ $399! They look way more expensive than they were and I think the quality is great for the price point! If you're worried about the light color you can use this Scotchguard spray to protect the fabric.
