DIY with DLD: Fall Flower Chair
Morning Readers! Hope everyone enjoyed yesterday's post and are excited for today's DIY with DLD!This quick and easy planter idea is a perfect way to add some pizzazz to your porch using items you may already have laying around your yard and house.
- Old Chair with seat removed
- Hanging Planter Basket
- Lrg Pumpkin
- Mini Pumpkins
- Fall Flowers (ie: kale, grass, pansies)
- Various Mosses
- Fall Leafs
- If your chair hasn't already had the seat removed, begin by removing the seat portion of the chair.
- Place hanging planter into the seat of the chair and pull sisal material over the rim of the basket to hide the mechanics
- Fill the basket with potting soil and begin planting your plants and flowers. I chose a large accent of kale and fiber optic grass
- Place the large and mini pumpkins throughout the planter
- Add the various mosses to hide any exposed basket and to give the basket desired texture
- The finished touch is completed by adding some fall leafs for color
