DIY with DLD: Colorful Wooden Flatware
I am sure that you have all seen these fun disposable forks, spoons and knives. They are gaining popularity for their eco-friendly and versatile uses. While we LOVE the pre-made designed utensils from shops like Sucre Shop, we couldnt find the perfect colors we were looking for when planning our photo shoot. So with a little creativity we came up with our own designs that fit our color niche. We can't wait to share how the final product was used in our hip, on-trend, 3 Blind Mice photoshoot! Stay tuned!
- Sucre Wooden Spoons
- Sucre Wooden Forks
- Washi Tape
- Mini Color Coding Labels
- Modge Podge
This is pretty much the most simple DIY ever! Take your colored dots and place them onto the wooden utensils. Once you've completed the desired pattern, cover the handle of the utensils with a think layer of modge podge to seal. Voila! To achieve this look, simply place a colorful strip of your favorite washi tape the handle of your spoons and press firmly. Add a think layer of modge podge to seal. Too fun, right! We think these would be so prefect with the right adornment for Easter Brunch! What do you think?Wooden Utensils- Sucre shop via ZurchersWashi Tape- Etsy
