Winter Romance Inspiration Shoot: Park City
Good Morning beautiful readers! Happy Monday! Today we continue on with more winter inspiration from one of our own inspiration shoots.When I was approached by Amy of Amy Lashelle Photography, to participate in a winter wedding inspiration shoot, I knew it was the beginning of something great! After an afternoon of sipping tea and bumbling on about wedding happenings, we stumbled upon a vision we both adored. A cozy Park City wedding. Once we had our palate of gold, amber, sapphire and emerald (a girls favorite jewels) we chose the perfect location; The Sky Lodge in the heart of downtown Park City.
Once we had our two key elements in order, the rest all fell in place. I brought Mollie (my trusty sidekick) on board to help me finish the vision with her mad design skills.
Mollie designed these fitting invites which were adorned with a custom sweater wrap and coordinating wood buttons! Too perfect!
Our bride was a vision in her caplet and winter white dress. Most brides tend to shy away from short dresses for a winter wedding but we would love to see more brides embrace them! Paired with a sublime set of designed tights and suited shoe, short dresses can work.
Our table-scape started with a runner of vintage doilies knitted by my great grandmother. When I came upon them, they reminded me of delicate snowflakes; each its very own shape and texture. We built on top of that with emerald and gold vessels which held floral varieties like acacia, mums, dusty miller, roses and deep hued privet berries. We brought in a touch of the lodge feel with these adorable owls and strategically placed wooden acorns.
No party event is complete without perfectly designed favors by Ms. Mollie. These fuzzy mittens, accompanied by individual designed tags, were just the right nudge towards embracing the crisp Park City air.
