Walmart Patio Makeover!

Ok, so we had this terrible looking flower bed right off our front door & one day I got the idea to transform it into patio! I have been missing my front porch & wanted a place to sit in front of the house so I told my husband about this idea. He actually loved it.... so we set to work on creating it the very next day! We had some leftover stone from our kitchen/fireplace so it worked out perfectly! Over in my IG stories today I shared a time lapse video of us laying the flagstone (saved under "Yard+Exterior" highlights). And can you believe that once the plants were cleared out, we actually made this patio in less than an hour?!!! After we laid the flagstone pieces, we filled the spaces with a sand like substance called white chat. We are working on making a YouTube video to show the whole process!

It was so exciting to be able to turn useless space into functional space! And thanks to my partnership with Walmart, I was able to get the perfect patio pieces to finish this new design! It feels so inviting now with the black/white stripes & touches of natural woven details. This hanging egg chair is everyone's new favorite spot! It's SO comfy & I am impressed with how sturdy it is. The little side table is a steal & looks great next to the hanging chair with my fave fluted bowl planter on top. I picked up the larger potted plants from the Walmart garden center & they came just like this-- looking so cute!

Walmart has the bench for a steal too-- it's just $86!! Even my outfit is from Walmart! They have the cutest new clothing line called Free Assembly. This dress is comfy & I love the button detail + subtle puff sleeve. And of course the price is great too!! Definitely one I'll have on repeat this summer!

We are so thrilled to have this new patio space all done & ready to use! Compared to how it looked before, I'd say it's a major improvement! What do you think?
