Valentine's Decor: Printable Signs + Love Tree + Banner

Happy Monday! We hope all our Valentine's projects last week left you in the mood to make some lovely & delicious things. We had so much fun with all the ideas we may have gotten a little carried away, which is why I bring you another little Valentines post today...

I've never really had Valentines Decorations, which is weird considering I have stuff for pretty much every other holiday. I figured it was about time I got my act together & properly decorated for this festive holiday of love. Last week I posted a DIY tutorial on my canvas project, which I hope you enjoyed! I also wanted to share a couple other DIY ideas I put together quickly to go along with my canvases. I designed some simple Valentine Printables in pink/white to coordinate (they're on sale in my Etsy shop right now for just $2!). I put them in some frames I had lying around. I then thought it would be fun to add a little XOXO heart banner. For this I used basic white tags, twine, some wood painted hearts & a little ribbon. I picked up some snazzy metallic gold ink at Hobby Lobby for just $2.99-- that's the reg. price too, not bad! I stamped the letters onto the tags & also stamped a few words like "love" & "kiss" to make some tags to hang from my "love tree" project.

The love tree will be a little place for us to hang notes to each other during this mushy Valentine's season. I didn't take a photo, but I have some tiny metallic gold envelopes & mini clothespins to use for adding these little love notes to each other onto the tree. I also hung other little heart charms & some of the extra wood painted hearts left over from my banner/garland project. All these ideas were easy & super cheap (I already had the little tree that I picked up from a yard sale-- originally from Ikea I think). It's always good to try & use stuff you have already since it makes you get creative & saves you time + money. Plus, now my entry way has a little Valentine's pizazz!
