Valentines Day Craft: You Melt My Heart

What a day! Today has been a whirlwind of craziness! Babysitting my sick niece, blogging, working on a wedding and DIY projects do not make for a stress-free day. But enough of my muttering......I'm sharing a quick and easy DIY Valentines Day project with you all. You will be shocked at just how fast these little babies are! Not to mention, completely 100% adorable! Enjoy.Supplies Needed:

  • Broken crayons in shades of pinks, reds, green and whites
  • Heart shaped silicone mold

Step 1: Remove paper from crayons and cut into various sized bits.Step 2: Place the bits of crayon wax into silicone mold. The more colors the better.Step 3: Preheat oven to 190 degrees. Once heated, place silicon mold on baking sheet and bake for 20-25 minutes.Step 3: Once crayons are melted completely, remove from the oven and carefully place into freezer for 20 minutes or until hardened.

Step 4: Carefully remove hardened crayons from the mold

Step 5: Place double-sided sticky tape onto printed material and place crayon heart in the middle of the paper

I made these custom cut tags and adorned the crayon heart with some double sided sticky tape. In less then an hour, you have an charming Valentines gift that is sure to have the kids wanting more.Interested in these printables?
