Updated Wicker: A Fresh Take with Color
OK so if you've been to the local thrift store lately, you've seen the entire shelf that's dedicated to dated wicker. Old baskets, wicker plates and various chotchkies. While on my weekly peruse to the DI, I found a whole boat load of these wicker chargers. A Mexican resteraunt must have gone out of business because there were loads of these. I loved the texture and size but wasnt sure what I would do with them. Story of my life. My original thought was to keep them natural, maybe stain them and use them for a hacienda style dinner. That was until I dreamed up a perfect pattern for our Three Blind Mice shoot. This DIY is so versatile and could be used for virtually any event. How fun would these be for Cinco de Mayo?!
