St Patrick's Day Playtime Fun

Good Morning lovely readers and happy Tuesday!For awhile now, we have had a large interest from our readers to come up with unique and innovative party ideas for children. With holidays being our specialty here at DLD, we found it only natural that we bring you a first, of many, with our  St. Patrick's Day playtime fun. One of the great things about our parties, is that they can be done on a budget but still have loads of eye catching, quality material. As you will see in the upcoming posts and DIY projects, we put our heart and soul into creating a unique and affordable experience that will create memories for your children for years to come.We are head over heels in love with this lunch time fun and we know you will be too! For our location we chose the newly opened Apple Spice Cafe & Bakery in Salt Lake City. Gary, Ken and Alison were truly the greatest hosts and their location was the perfect setting for our Ole' Irish themed party, with all its warmth and charm.In the upcoming days, we will provide you with easily done DIY projects and loads of charming photos to jumpstart ideas for throwing your own party! For now, enjoy these beauties of our tablescape and placesetting ideas. For our tablescape, we chose to go with some classics but with a little twist. To break up the monotony of green, green, green, we threw in pops of oranges along with tones of browns and natural fabrics. Mixing patterns is always a great way to add interest to the table and we did just that with patterend napkins and fabric wrapped pots, which held shamrock plants.Can we just take a second to admire these edible masterpieces? Julie of Layers Cake outdid herself with these little numbers. Made of edible Marzipan, these potatoes were a huge hit with the little ones and even bigger with the mommas!
