Remodel Project: Small Bathroom Reveal!

OUR REMODEL PROJECT IS DONE!!! Seriously so thrilled about this! This bathroom was part of that large mint green & peach oversized 90's bathroom (click here to see the before video!) that we put a wall down in the middle to convert to 2 bathrooms! This side is the side that's attached to the guest room & is the smaller of the two.

Since we were limited on space, I got a little creative! I wanted to make a big impact with the design, so I partnered up with Riad Tile for some statement making tile which I took all the way up to the ceiling! As you know, I love LOVE the tall ceilings in this house & wanted to bring attention to that because although we were tight on floor space, we had plenty of ceiling height to work with! Just like people often play up their best features with a little makeup to accent, you can do the same thing with your home. Most spaces have something unique that's worth highlighting even when something else may be lacking in the room! That's exactly what I did with the ceiling height in this space.

The back wall is a brick-looking tile, from Riad Tile that is part of their Zellige collection. I selected the 2x6 Zellige in Steel Grey and it is AMAZING! It's a thick handmade tile that's packed with character & charm which lends an old world artisan feel that I'm in love with! They have tons of different colors available (and you can order samples too!). Each tile is truly a work of art. I love the slight variance in color between tiles & that they're so unique. I used Mapei 19 "pearl gray" for the grout color with these tiles.

The fun patterned floor tile is also from Riad Tile! It's the 8x8 Zeus Cement tile. I wanted to add just a touch of pattern to make this space pop. This pattern is both modern & classic which perfectly fit what I was aiming for! I love how it pairs with the tile I used for the wall & floor as well. The bathroom floor tile is Terrazzo White (also from Riad Tile!). It's got such great detail with the varying neutral tones. It's made with cement & real marble pieces for a unique modern look that's fresh & blends well with so many other accent tiles!

I wanted this space to bring together modern elements with some artisan style details. The gorgeous Lottie sconces I selected in partnership with Winnoby Home are a great example of this-- they have modern styling, though the rich amber bronze tone has the more classic look of aged brass. I love how they pair with the arched wooden mirror for that modern + old world, artisan feeling.

The marble vanity is another piece I fell in love with for this space (here's a similar one that's in stock right now)! I adore the mix of the marble top & open-frame vanity. Plus it's awesome that you can get the vanity, countertop & sink all in one piece to make things easier! I shared more details about this selection in my YouTube video embedded below! I'm also including links for all the other products I used to create this space. Let me know if you have any questions! XOXO & more reveals coming soon! Happy New Year!!
