Tips on how to pair dining room chairs, tables & benches: Part 1

Hey guys! I wanted to share some of my favorite dining room pairings for you. There are 5 different styles shown here with a variety of options & price points. There are also some great sales going on for some of these items. You can click the plus signs in the image or shop the items in the bar at the bottom of this blog post. They are direct links to the products so it's very simple![show_ms_widget id="33238559" image_id="37808192" width="683" height="2049"]Farmhouse Style. When pairing tables, chairs & benches I like to choose one or two common elements to tie them together. In this case, it's the X shape-- seen on the chairs, table base & bench, and the whitewashed oak wood color-- on the upholstered chair legs, bench & chairs. I seriously adore the white table & think it's a great price for the quality too. Just check out the reviews too! One of my favorite details about this pretty table is that the table leaf pieces store neatly in the base of the table!! The X chairs are another favorite-- love the different finishes they come in, including white. The ones I've used on the board are the Driftwood color! If you want to dress up your table a bit, try these darling striped blue upholstered chairs that are on sale now! Or if you want a more casual dining feel, you could use the X chairs at the ends of the table instead. And to seat more and give a little variety this sturdy X bench is a great choice!Island/Coastal Style. I'm a sucker for anything bamboo & rattan, so these pretty white chairs were a shoe in for this airy beach vibe. I also love these chairs! I went with some statement chairs for the ends of the table, also in white, but with a really unique shape. And the thick slab, dark wood table makes this grouping stand out. The unique base of this table lends itself to the island feel.Mid Century Modern. The clean lines of mid century design are a big player in todays world of design. If you have a home with this style, I think you'll love the combination here. The bench is a unique way to style this table and since it's so simple, allows the other chairs to stand out. For an extra clean design, you could use benches on both long sides of the table and have only accent chairs on the ends. I just love this table, because it pairs so well with many different styles! You'll notice my common element in this grouping is the white with wood.Swedish Modern. This style is one of my favorites! I love the simple airy elements and clean lines. These chairs are a hot item right now and they're hard to find because most places can't keep them in stock! In case these ones sell out, there's another link in the scrolling product bar at the end of the post. Ohhh and this table is another favorite of mine and the price point is excellent too! Using benches with this style is another great choice for more seating and it also fits the Swedish Modern simple aesthetic.Modern Industrial. Right now there are a lot of great industrial style products on the market. This grouping pulls in metal elements which make for a sleeker industrial vibe rather than the more vintage industrial. I love the simplicity of the chairs. I wanted to keep the lines very basic for this grouping because the table is such a showpiece, I wanted it to be the focus! The bench has a unique style that's city chic and plays off the metal table base.[show_shopthepost_widget id="1473775"]MollieSignature
