I love, love getting dressed up for all the holiday parties and festivities! I wanted to share some of my recent fashion finds for all different kinds of events. Here’s what I’m loving most this season…
Layer it up! So many fun dresses you can layer or even ones that come with a layered look— like my black & cream favorite! I love adding a turtleneck under a jumper or adding a dressy coat to complete the look. Layers keep you cozy & stylish!
Mad for plaid! It’s no secret that I’ve got a major crush on plaid prints for the holidays. From the classic red Christmas plaid to the more refined black/white— I want them all! I love it on tops, dresses, skirts, even shoes!
Shoes that POP! I love the sparkle & bows especially!! Shoes can make the outfit, become the perfect conversation starter and get you in that festive mood! Shoes can also dress up an outfit if you’re not wanting to wear an actual dress. Wearing heels with jeans or leggings can be a fun change of pace!
Matched 2 piece sets! Whether it’s a tweed jacket & skirt or cozy sweater knit sweats, I adore matching 2 piece sets and love how easy they are to wear. It takes all the guesswork out!
Texture is top notch! I adore textured fabrics— they give depth and interest. My $20 cream colored dress is a perfect example! The textured fabric makes it feel way more expensive than it actually is. And the suede copper shoes are another example of how texture adds so much. Don’t forget all the cable knits, tweed blends, furs & faux leathers too!
