#EuropeanOrganicModern: Home for the Holidays, Simply Christmas Tour!
Hope you're feeling the Christmas spirit-- now's your chance to grab that cup of hot cocoa and cozy up for more holiday home inspiration! For those of you following along with our fabulous Simply Christmas Home Tour, I bet you just got tons of great ideas & holiday eye candy from my friend Sarah of Life on Virginia Street! I love her home & style!!And now I'm so excited to share my festive home with you! Holiday decorating this year has been extra special for me since it's our first Christmas living in this home that we've spent the last couple years designing and building. If you're new here, this is the 3rd fully custom home my husband and I have built and we just moved in this past May.For our Christmas decor this year I wanted to create an overall simple feel with some touches of organic, boho and Scandinavian influence. I also REALLY love a "handmade" aspect to Christmas decor. For me, the comforts of Christmas include a more casual element, which is why I let the kids decorate the tree (I want them to know it's theirs too :)) and we also like to make some of the decor, like the wood bead star garland and the Christmas terrariums that I'll share more details on soon. Anyway, here's a look at how we decked the halls in the main living spaces of our home! We also have a vintage nativity set that I need to go dig out of the storage boxes and get set up-- that should complete everything! Oh and one last thing... I have a surprise room I'll be sharing later this week, so stay tuned for that!P.S.
