#EuropeanOrganicModern: Basement Theater Reveal!

Probably everyone's favorite spot in our new basement is this theater room! We had so much fun creating this space and I LOVE how it turned out! This room is actually not huge. It's about 13 ft x 19 ft. It was a challenge in some ways to make it all work, but I think this limited square footage helped us to think outside the box. We found the coolest seating from Room & Board and partnered with them to make this theater the perfect space for our family! I selected these round swivel chairs in "Orla Ivory". They have tons of fabric choices and will even send you free swatches so you can see the color/texture in person!

We have loved that these chairs are equally beautiful & comfortable!! They have 2 sizes, which worked out perfectly for us since our center aisle is actually not exactly centered (just how the spacing worked out with the framing). So we used 2 of the larger size & 2 of the medium size & they fit so well!! Here's our YouTube video sharing more details on design & paint color, etc! The light fixtures we used for this space are another favorite detail! They're from Hudson Valley Lighting and we made them dimmable so it's just like a real theater where you can get the perfect amount of light for movie viewing. The aged brass finish on these sconces is so amazing against the wall color, don't you think?!

Also, you might remember that I shared this wallpaper in my IG stories a few weeks back when I found it & now it's installed! I adore it! Love the way the subtle color in it compliments the paint color so well. I've linked the other details from this space for you below!
