DLD Woodland Playroom Updates

First off, we wanted to thank all our wonderful readers who came to our IKEA demonstration this past Saturday. It was great & we had lots of fun with all of you! Hope you've all been making lots of creative seating after learning a few tips & tricks. We'll get some tutorials up soon for those who missed it. We shared how to turn the IKEA Mammut stool into a darling little toadstool seat, that was inspired by my woodland playroom. We also made some other cute little critters from the stools as well, so we'll be sharing those too.So whenever I see commercials from One Kings Lane, I couldn't agree more with their slogan of "Design is Never Done". Quite awhile ago I shared photos of the woodland playroom I designed. Well, we've definitely made some changes between then & now and I thought I'd share them.I designed the snail slide and my very awesome husband built it. If anyone wants a tutorial, leave a comment & let me know! I also added the cobblestone rug to the reading corner, plus a few toys & accessories-- like the frog bookends, which I had shipped here all the way from Australia (yes, I loved Mr. Frog, THAT much), the apple pillow, red lantern and the vintage Fisher-Price Happy Apples too. The TV and stump shaped cabinet beneath it are new additions too. My husband built the little tree stump to house the DVR box. I'm sure there are other things I'm forgetting too, but you get the picture-- I'm constantly changing things!!These incredible images are the work of Aria Photography. Aren't they amazing?!MollieSignature
