DIY with DLD: Dream-catcher Namecards
Perfectly thought out details are always ones that people remember the most. Today's designs are nothing short of amazing. While they may not be the most realistic for a large group, these dream-catcher name-cards are the perfect touch for a small dinner party like mine. They take only minutes to make and will have your guests swooning. Want to incorporate these into your holiday table but not sure how? Use a larger crocheting hoop and add your dinner menu for guests to see.
- Crocheting hoops

- Loose feathers
- Leather strapping

1. Take your bakers twine and tie a double knot at the top of the crocheting hoop.2. In a criss-cross motion, wrap the twine around the outside edges for the hoop, pulling tightly. You should finish the last threading in the same spot you began. See below for the numbered diagram.3. Adhere the loose twine with hot glue4. Tie off some leather strapping, leaving them at varying lengths.5.Now it's time to adhere various colored, sized and shaped feathers. I glued some small feathers to the ends of the leather strapping and to hide the mechanics of the twine I glued a large focal feather on top.6. Finish by adhering your card stock with hot glue.Big thanks is in order for Alex Adams Photography for her help capturing these beautiful images!
