Creating a Whimsical Neutral Kid's Room: Part 2
Here's the other side of my son's room makeover I did with Walmart! In case you missed part 1 of this project, I've linked it here. For this side of the room I wanted to add interactive spaces-- the table & stool set was the perfect way to do this! There used to be a dresser in that spot, but since we had plenty of storage with the closet, I decided to move that to a different room in favor of a more toddler-friendly set up! It's the perfect place to color pictures, do puzzles or play games.
I also added the adorable woven baskets for storing blankets & toys! I love incorporating functional, aesthetically pleasing storage into spaces like this to make it easy to keep the room tidy. They add awesome texture and are a great deal for the set of 2!
The artwork is from the Walmart website as well! They have tons of cute framed canvas animal prints that add personality & fun to the room at a reasonable cost. The tent is another interactive element in this space. Like I mentioned in my last post, it makes for a very cozy reading spot! Lastly, the little rhino shaped footstool adds to the fun, whimsical feel of the room.
I've linked these & more of my awesome Walmart finds below! They have so many cute decor/furniture pieces for kids' rooms, that are affordable too! Happy decorating!!
