A New Oakwood Community in American Fork! A tour of South Point...

Last weekend I was able to check out a really cool new home development from Oakwood Homes. I wanted to share some of the fresh concepts I saw in this community and let you guys know about it in case you want to build a new home, but want less yard size & maintenance! So the cool thing about South Point is that it's like a townhome community, except there are no shared walls and you can pick all the finishes and style of your home-- and bonus, they take care of the front yard landscaping for you!! There are so many options with the sizes of homes they offer as well, so you can pick a plan that perfectly suits your needs. Here were some of my favorite features in these homes:

The pretty flooring and airy, open layouts!

Awesome outdoor areas, like this modern deck with metal railing.

Unique windows and very efficient use of space!

The chalkboard wall in this kitchen-- a fun and practical addition!

Eat-in islands are included standard with the kitchen spaces and so are the gorgeous countertops!

Loved the cement tile in this bathroom and the fun distressed wood/laminate flooring.

Transoms above the windows and sliding doors add lots of natural light!

Custom details like the metal railing below make these homes unique and fresh. I thought they had the perfect balance of modern & comfortable.
