Parade Home Tour: Primary Bathroom
Another room tour from the Parade of Homes house that I worked on with RL Wyman Design + Create! Here’s a look at the primary bathroom, which I absolutely adore. The vanity wall was the perfect place to bring in some of the Milan Ridgestone— a touch of organic, raw texture to tie in with the exterior. It really gives this space some character, whilst also maintaining a minimalist approach. Keeping the other details simple— like the oversized (and surprisingly affordable!) vanity mirrors, allows the stone to really have its moment. Also the minimal travertine wall sconces are an understated element that offer a unique detail in the way they accent the face of the stone, subtly highlighting the texture.
The spacious shower is full of natural light as it connects to a very cool outdoor garden shower— perfect for a quick rinse when you come in from the pool— or an evening shower under the stars! The St. George desert offers the most lovely summer nights and I love the way this outdoor shower connects you to nature. The indoor/outdoor living is such a cool feature of this home.
Another detail I’m pretty proud of in this space, is the hidden vertical shower niches. They’re so functional and don’t detract from the design of the bathroom. Mindfully tucked on the backside of the shower side walls, they’re sleek and not visible from the main bathroom allowing for a clean, minimal approach. Planning ahead for details like this can make a huge impact in the overall aesthetics and function of a home!
More well planned touches of luxury in this space include the heated stone floors, oversized bathtub, floating walnut vanities and stunning built-in linen cabinet. I can’t wait to show you more of this incredible project, both here & over on our YouTube channel too!
